Brooke Austin, PTA

Don’t be afraid to try new things, regardless of the outcome.

Brooke Austin serves as a Physical Therapist Assistant here at Gillette Physical Therapy, where she enjoys working with people of all ages and helping them return to the activities they love. For Brooke, one of the most rewarding parts of her work at GPT is meeting a wide variety of patients, learning about their individual goals, and helping guide them through their recovery process. Whether someone is rebuilding lost strength, restoring mobility, or working toward a more active lifestyle, Brooke cherishes the opportunity to support each patient in a personal and encouraging way.

A Gillette native, Brooke was raised in the community and graduated from high school here. Her connection to Gillette Physical Therapy began when she worked as an aide during high school. During that time, Brooke saw firsthand how the GPT team cared for their patients, built relationships, and created a positive environment centered on trust and high-quality care. That experience stuck with Brooke, and even as she worked in other places, Gillette Physical Therapy was the destination she hoped to return to.

Brooke graduated from Physical Therapist Assistant school in Cheyenne in 2019. Since then, her career has allowed her to travel, work in a variety of settings, and serve different patient populations. From home health to outpatient care, she has experience supporting people at different stages of their rehabilitation journey. Her experiences have assisted her growth as a therapist and strengthened her ability to meet each patient where they are.

When she's not assisting patients, Brooke enjoys working out, spending time with her family (including her dog), hiking, and being outdoors. She also is invested and connected in the community through coaching CrossFit and attending local events. Brooke lives by the idea of not being afraid to try new things, regardless of if the outcome is a success.
